Dress to Impress Halloween update

The Dress to Impress Halloween update is not on 10 October. The official account posted on 4 October that the team moved it to 17 October 2026, 11:00am EST. That is 4:00pm in the UK. They said they needed more time to finish the surprises. Nothing in that post included a new code.
As of 5 October there is no confirmed Halloween code on the public lists this site checks. Videos titled “new Halloween codes” from the last few days are mostly sneak peeks and reminders of the 2024 and 2025 codes. Those old codes are expired. Pasting them on the 17th will not unlock this year’s set.
What is actually confirmed
- Date. 17 October 2026, 11:00am Eastern. It had been planned for the 10th.
- A violin prop. A Dress to Impress developer has been working on a violin for this update. That is a prop, the same kind of slot as the heart fork, not a full outfit.
- No code yet. The working codes on the board are the normal creator list, topped by and . Neither of those is a Halloween item.
Treat anything more specific than that as a leak until it is in the game or on two public code lists. Set names circulating in comment sections are not a redeemable code.
What usually happens on update day
Dress to Impress updates often ship with a code, and the Halloween ones have been the short-lived kind. Previous years opened a code for a few hours or a few days, then turned it off. Players who were asleep for the window did not get a second chance. That is the pattern, not a promise that this year will do the same. The account has not said there will be a code.
If a code does drop, it will be a new string. It will not be the 2024 or 2025 Halloween code with a new digit on the end. Copy it from a list that shows the reward next to it. A code with no item name, posted by one account, is how people redeem junk and then argue with the menu.
What to do on the 17th
- Open the code board that afternoon, not the night before. Checking early will not see a code that is not live yet.
- Tap Check for new once. The site only refreshes the lists once a day, so a second tap the same morning does nothing.
- New strings show at the top, marked new, with the item picture when the wiki has one.
- Copy, then paste in the game. If paste fails on the phone, the copied bar stays on screen.
In the UK that means after 4pm, not first thing in the morning. 11am Eastern is mid-afternoon here. Checking at breakfast will still show yesterday’s list.
What to have in the closet before then
A Halloween update adds themes. It does not delete the free items you already redeemed. Gothic is already one of the looks that places, because voters know it on sight: dark layers, a neck piece, something in the hand. Code items that help that kind of round are already live.

Which of those are worth doing first, and which strings people mistype, is on the DTI codes page. Redeem those before the 17th. On the day itself, the only new question is whether a Halloween code exists yet. The board is where that answer will show up.
